Chocolate Orange Almond Fat Bombs

Chocolate Orange Almond Fat bombs remind me of the orange chocolate balls my mom would put in my stocking when I was a kid. You know the ones where you have to smash it and it splits into delicious segments right? Well these fat bombs do not smash open but they are low carb, Keto and delicious.

Using Stevia

Adjust your stevia amount to suit your tastes. I added orange rind to these bombs for an extra kick. Orange rinds contain a negligible amount of carbohydrates but pack in that extra orange flavor.

Chocolate Orange Almond Fat Bombs

Ingredients

4 oz coconut oil
2 oz 100% chocolate
15-20 drops of liquid stevia
1 ½ -2 tsp pure orange extract
½ tsp pure vanilla extract
½ tsp pure almond extract
20 almonds
¼ – ½ tsp orange zest

Special Equipment

Instructions

  • Place silicone mold on a tray for easy transferring later.
  • Place one almond in each mold and sprinkle a pinch of rind on top.
  • Melt the coconut oil in a large glass measuring cup, storing every 30 seconds.
  • Add stevia, orange extract, vanilla extract and any remaining rind with the melted chocolate and stir.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into each mold.
  • Freeze for 60 minutes until set.
  • Store in the freezer or refrigerator.
  • Let the Chocolate Orange Almond Fat Bombs thaw a bit before eating.
