Keto Chocolate Banana Cookies
Do you miss Bananas since switching over to keto? Before I was eating two Bananas a day!
Now that is a lot of sugar. Bananas are the number one food that I miss the most since switching to keto.
Once you know how to make Keto Chocolate Banana Cookies, you will not miss bananas as much.
Secret Ingredients
The First secret ingredient for these keto Cookies are Avocados!
You would never think by looking at these cookies but there is a huge avocado packed inside.
The Avocado provides healthy fats and help the Keto Chocolate Banana Cookies become fudgy and delicious.
The Second secret ingredient is Pecan Butter.
Naturally low in carbs but surprisingly high in fat, Pecans add another layer of flavor to these Keto Chocolate Banana Cookies.
Check out my Pecan Butter recipe found right here!
Two different types of sweeteners
When I bake I prefer to use a combination of erythritol and stevia when making .
I have found that the two sweeteners cancel out any bad aftertaste that one or the other makes.
These cookies are not overly sweet. They are dark chocolate with a hint of delicious banana.
Keto Chocolate Banana Cookies
Ingredients:
- 120g (about 2/3 cup) Pecan Butter – you can use a different nut butter however the carb count will go up. Trust me on the Pecan Butter.
- 1/2 cup Erythritol
- 15-20 drops of vanilla flavored stevia (adjust to taste)
- 2 eggs
- 140g (about 1.5 ) Avocado
- 2 Pinches of Sea salt
- 70g (about 1 cup) Cocoa Powder
- 2 Tbs Banana Extract
- 2 Tsp Sugar Free Rainbow Sprinkles
Special Equipment:
- Food Processor (I have been using this one for years!)
- Parchment paper (NOT WAXED PAPER!)
- Silicone Spatula (I received one as a wedding gift 11 years ago – still amazing!)
- Baking Sheet
Instructions:
- First, Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Next cut a piece of parchment paper to fit your baking sheet and line the baking sheet with the parchment paper.
- Add all the ingredients except the rainbow sprinkles to the food processor. Because why be extra, dump it all in.
- Blend the ingredients in the food processor until smooth. Scrape the sides and then blend a bit more.
- Place about a Tablespoon of batter on to the parchment paper. Use a wet spoon to smooth the cookies out on to the paper. These cookies will not “spread”. Make them about half an inch thick. I was able to make 12 out of one batch.
- Garnish the cookies with a pinch of Rainbow Sprinkles.
- Place the cookies in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Once the middle has set up take the cookies out of the oven and let them cool for 5-6 minutes before removing from the pan.

They will turn out pretty well with sugar instead – but itβs sugar so who needs it right?!

Great recipe & since I’m gluten free it’s totally safe for me to try! I’m not familiar with Tye other sweetener but I use stevia in everything & don’t always like the after taste so I’ll look into it!

Thank You!
THIS LOOKS SO GOOD AND I CAN NOT WAIT TO MAKE THIS.
Thanks! π
Two TABLESPOONS extract? Seems like a lot.
Taste as you go and use less if you want. I like a lot of flavor so I used a lot.
Just made these and OMG YUM!! I think I may have eaten the “extra” batter π SO delish! And I added extra vanilla extract & only 2 drops stevia and super yum. Agreed that the banana extract may seem like a lot, but it really intensifies the dark chocolate flavour of these little drops of goodness.
Wow!!! Thanks so much for trying and loving the recipe and telling me about it!! This comment made my day thank you π
