One important thing to remember when eating a keto diet is alcohol contains a lot of calories.
One shot of vodka or 1.5 oz is about 97 calories however they are still zero carbs.
If you are tracking your calories then you need to count the calories found in the alcohol.
There are very little calories in the diet cranberry juice so remember: the more you add the more calories and carbs will be in your drink.
Alcohol and your Keto
When you drink a Keto Cranberry Moscow Mule or other alcoholic drinks your body sees it as toxic.
Your body will break the alcohol down immediately and stop burning fat until the alcohol has cleared your system.

Keto Cranberry Moscow Mule
A Low Carb Keto Cocktail with a holiday twist.
Ingredients
- 2 shots Titos Vodka
- 1 can Goslings Sugar Free Ginger Beer
- 40 ml Diet Cranberry Juice
- 40 ml Lime Juice
- 20 ml Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 handful Ice
Garnish
- 1 Meduim Lime
- 1 Sprig Fresh Rosemary
- 5 Fresh Cranberries
Special Equipment
- 1 Copper Moscow Mule Mug
- 1 Festive Straw
Instructions
Prepare your garnishes: Lime Slices, a sprig of fresh rosemary and a handful of cranberries.
Put the Ice, and Garnishes inside of your mug and pour the Sugar Free Ginger Beer over them.
Add the Vodka, (My Favorite is Titos) , Lime juice, Cranberry Juice and Apple Cider Vinegar into your mug. Add more Cranberry juice if desired and remember that it is about .5 carbs per half shot of sugar free Cranberry juice. Add the straw and enjoy responsibly.
