Dairy free, paleo, Keto, Turmeric Latte

I drink a dairy free, paleo, keto, turmeric Latte every morning for joint and autoimmune health. Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory wonder.

Turmeric helps my autoimmune by suppressing the symptoms and reducing inflammation. Some people say that turmeric and ginger can also help with weight loss.

It is very important when using turmeric for the therapeutic properties to take turmeric with some sort of fat and pepper. I use the bit of pepper found in garam masala for flavor as well as pepper.

There is something about the Turmeric being warmed up in the latte makes me feel great. I am not sure if its real or just imaginary.

Turmeric, ginger latte

Dairy free, paleo, Keto, Turmeric Latte:

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/8 tsp ginger
  • dash of cinamon
  • dash of ginger
  • 120 ml coconut almond milk
  • 1 tbs mtc oil or coconut oil (CODE: OMGKETOKMK10 gets you 10% off!)
  • 2-3 cups of water

Add all ingredients to a pot and bring the pot to a boil. Keep an eye on this because if it bubbles over oil is flammable. It might start a grease fire. Believe me, I started one the other day.

Turn the heat down to a simmer. Stir the turmeric latte if it starts to bubble up too much. Simmer for about 10 minutes or until it has reduced down a bit. Drink while warm.

Add a bit of stevia or honey if you like it sweeter. If you add the stevia while it is simmering it might boil over be careful.

Thanks Janelle. Some people mix it into their coffee. I don’t do coffee regularly so I have not tried that yet.

  2. You list ginger twice. Is that a typo? Thanks
