Bulletproof Butterscotch Blondie Fat Bomb Tea is a delicious tea full of fats to get you through your day.
Coffee or Tea?
Coffee for most people is their go to morning drink. I have found that Coffee effects my joints so I opt out and make tea instead. I love making “bulletproof” teas with oils and milks.
Sea Salt
I add a pinch of pink sea salt for two reasons. The first is that when you are doing keto it is important to get your salt intake up. Without glucose in our systems our bodies have trouble hanging on to vital nutrients like Potassium. The second is by taking a pinch here and there of pink salt I have found that it ups my energy uptake.

Ingredients
- 1 Tazo Butterscotch Blondie Tea Bag
- 28 ml (2 TBS) Coconut Milk (I use Star Brand, no guar gum!)
- 14 g (1 TBS) Coconut Oil ( I use Nutiva)
- 14 g (1 TBS) Butter
- .5 oz Sugar Free Caramel Syrup or 6 drops of Caramel flavored Stevia
- 2 pinches of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
- 4 oz Boiling water
Equipment
- Frother ( I use this one)
- Electric Kettle
- Coffee Mugs (Someone please buy me this one)
Instructions
- Boil the water and pour into a coffee mug. Add the Tea bag and steep for 3-5 minutes. Squeeze the bag when you take it out to maximize the tea flavor.
- Place the Coconut Milk, Coconut Oil, salt, sugar free syrup and Butter in a microwave safe mug and place in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
- Froth the milk and other ingredients for about 15 seconds until the liquid expands in size and gets frothy.
- Remove the tea bag from the tea and discard.
- Pour the frothed milk into the tea.
- Enjoy!
